Expert Webinar Tip #1 - Always think of the content first.

Think about the audience and what they want and need. If you think about content first your audience will always want to come back for more.

Don't go on for 20 minutes about your story - get into what you promised them before you ever sell anything. This will help people trust you, like you, and come back for more

Expert Webinar Tip #2 - Tricks for an "Over-Sharing"

The best way to keep yourself on track during the webinar if you are an 'over-sharer' is set parameters with your title. i.e. "5 Tips To XYZ". With limiting titles are you able to stay within the fence and keep the webinar on point.

You are able to really tighten it up because you know where you are going

Give yourself limits if you are an overshare person

"I spend up to a week tightening the content by practicing it."

Go over the slides at least 3-4 times. The first couple times are always sloppy. Practice makes perfect and keeps the webinar on track.

Expert Webinar Tip #3 -

The webinar is the "WHAT" - are you selling and the "WHY" - does it matter to them.

The product you are selling is the "HOW". How to do what you told them about in the webinar.

During the webinar you are painting a picture of the opportunity and why it matters to them.

This also helps you stay on track.  Don’t get into the how because it causes them to overload and not buy because it’s too much content.

Bonus Tips -

Scalability - Use the podcast to get leads into the webinars. When you think of scalability - think of new audiences to get them to the webinars.

Create content based on the content of the webinar. Make it live right around the time to jump on the webinar. Choose one of the things on the webinar but go really deep on the podcast or blog content. The front end  content introduces the concept on the webinar before they get on. You will get a bigger audience when you use front end content to get into the webinar. Always churn out a lot of content before and after the webinar.

My email list build - Started at 600 to 200,000 today with webinars and FB ads to get registrants to webinars. But the webinar is the tool used to build the list.

When you give away great content you’ve earned your right to sell.

Your webinars should leave them feeling exciting,  inspire, and driven to take action.

You can also use webinars for nurture - do webinars for your students. Use webinars for fulfillment, as a boot camp.

If you’re having trouble perfecting selling selling on the webinar that’s ok. At least know that you’re using the webinar to build your list. You will perfect the sale as you go.

My Mantra - "No matter if they buy or not they walk away today excited, inspired and ready to take action."

It makes you feel better about your ability to sell.
