Webinar Tips #1 - Take them to a freebie, consumable or digestible download. Tell them a story with followup emails. Tell them how to use the download to get value. 

Downloading is a "micro commitment" - Give them an email series on how to consume this useful tool. Lead them to more which is the webinar then your products. 


Webinar Tip #2 - Use the power of Facebook to send reminders with retargeting. Facebook ads will increase show-up rates by 10-20%. Create a custom audience with registrants contact information and a reminder ad to show up to the webinar. Use "Plus-This" marketplace add-on to Infusionsoft to auto-update the custom audience. 


Webinar Tip #3 - The expiring bonus. The problem is the believability factor that the webinar is live. How do you close the door to this program is it’s evergreen? Your email followup needs to be heavily focused on the bonus that is going away - It makes it feel like the whole offer is going away. 

Fast action bonuses can expire by changing the url.


Webinar Tip #4 - After webinar what do you do with non-buyers?

a. do nothing with those leads
b. put into reg weekly broadcast

instead - create a conversation with them first.  Do not go random on them and start a new conversation. Maybe they just needed more time or convincing. Possibly they are only a few emails away from a close. You need to become a master on followup.

Send out 1 -2 emails for next 6 weeks - keep the conversation about the topic at hand. 

Start with with education and give them opportunity to watch webinar again or make the purchase. Give them more testimonials to close the deal. Then put them into regular cycle of emails. 


Webinar Tip #5 - Do Not Disturb tagging

Do not remove until you’ve completely failed at converting them. This allows you to keep to the conversation at hand. The "Do-Not-Disturb" tag keeps them from your random campaigns or broadcasts that can derail the sale.
